Wow did you see the buff to Defy pain? It's look like they took the +20 armor from ursan, then add the -10 damage to make it more imba and wow, FIVE ADRENALINE?? Wtf?
Beside that, its the coolest update for the moment, even with the powerful pve skills, i'm happy with it.
Edit: i know the +20 armor from defy pain was already there, but still, adding a -10 damage reduction is a bit....ughhhh

Yeah...that won't save you from dying instantly to an angry Assassin or Warrior (which [Aura of the Lich] could).
Then again, OoU combos very nicely with [Dark Bond]...but I would still prefer [Animate Flesh Golem].

The changes to [Battle Rage] and [Warriors Endurance] as well as [Quivering Blade] were very nice indeed. Now these skills might actually get some use.
[Asuran Scan] is awsome now...maybe a bit over the top but I love it.
["By Ural's Hammer!"] is now usable.
[ebon vanguard sniper support] is wicked, love the one liners ---> Snap! Headshot!
Have yet to test out all of the other skill changes but they do look interesting, not sure just how much life this will breath back into GW but its a very good start.
Now if there was only something worth while to do for a PvE player thats completed every quest/mission/dungeon....

* Heroes will now use Burning Refrain and Enduring Harmony on allies when appropriate.

Does anyone know if that means that heroes will actually use [Enduring Harmony] -> ["For Great Justice!"] properly?

On a more constructive side,
* Lyssa's Aura: increased recharge to 30 seconds. Functionality changed to: "(10 seconds.) You have 0..4 Energy regeneration. Renewal: every time you cast a spell on an enemy."
Self BIP, for any class? Even a monk can ether feast to heal itself and keep it up. Just IMO but fast casting maybe?

So much to take in all at once..can finally run regular builds and all chars have their uses again plus more. And for those of you saying they shifted the imbalance..you do realise that they said they were gonna reduce the grind for PvE Skills not nerf them...

Weird note on incendiary arrows, it actually hits 3 targets randomly near your target, and not necessarily your target. Also it works with preparations and splinter... so g'bye splinter barrage... wait... Critcendiary disruption A/R FTW! GOGOGOGOGO!

Ursan got its nerf, was hoping for more. Now every class is the same with this since everyone has the same armor and hp... but I still hate it.

asuran scan is TOO good because I now can't justify not including it in every attacker build ever.
ural's hammer is still bugged. It says it works off wounded ALLIES but it really works off wounded PARTY MEMBERS. Please to fix either skill or desc.

At the very least, PuGs must actually have a well-balanced team, instead of an Ursan-way team. And, it's a very good thing Ursan Blessing (and all the other Norn Blessings) are forms, and you lose non-consumable buffs (which is a decent thing).
Ursan Blessing, though, is not a buff, but a nerf (it has changed a LOT).
On another note, I figured that once the anti-Ursans got their way, they'd STILL CRY about it. I honestly saw it coming. What do they want? Ursan Blessing (and all other Blessings for that matter) to be removed?! *sigh*

Why did the nerf thunderclap.... It was fine the way it was before, not like many people use it...

Empathic Removal: functionality changed to: "Removes one condition and hex from target ally and yourself, and heals for 50. Cannot self-target."

What? This confuses me....

I think they did that to kinda... lessen the blow a bit to all the whiners who love Ursan and will mourn its death (although, most of those people are probablly too stupid to realize how this is a nerf, until they realize the second damage packet isn't armor ignoring).
People's expecations were here -->
What actually was released down here -->
While I think this is a fairly good skill update over all, it still buffs way to many skills unnecessarily. Granted, all this "its going to be a monster/major/super update" hype was all the forum community's own fault, it wouldn't have hurt if A.net had stepped in and brought our expectations down to more reasonable levels by telling us what to expect.
Anyway, buffing Great Dwarf Weapon (which was already overpowered with barrage teams) was kinda stupid.
And while I agree Incindiary Arrows would become the new "spliter barrage build" in PvE, due to the changes to GvG design (HORAY!) it isn't a big deal now.
Chances are RAWR will be out next month. I'm really interested to see how the meta will shift.
Water eles in PvP might start using Mirror of Ice. While Icy Shackles is nice, the added pressure of Mirror might help a lot, especially if the damage works as AoE damage on all targets of a water hex.
Anyways, some skills look like they will be A LOT of fun in PvE. For example, Master of Magic will allow people to have 12 points in all elementalist skill lines, allowing people to use some bizzare skill combos (and would also be nice for prismatic armor users).
The update also makes daze easier to apply (quivering and golden skull).
Only thing I really don't like is the new Order of Undeath. Old functionality was fine.
Anyways, I think it is official. Due to all the new functionality of skills, (which is good, shows a.net is trying to make usless skills into something worthwhile), it is time to update the wiki quick links skill icons. Stuff like crippling slash not showing bleeding is one thing, but like, 25 skills doing something COMPLETELY different will get real confusing with the old icons. Who the heck is in charge of that/made them last time anyways?
Edit: They didn't "nerf" thunderclap, just made it different. Daze is a REALLY powerful condtion to apply, and is a new toy for the elementalist class (I'm going to enjoy trying it out). Granted, it isn't as overpowered as perminant kd in random PvP (where you don't have reliable hex removal), but it is still powerful.
